  • Does Wingspread Retreat provide airport/train station shuttle transportation?

    Yes, we will provide shuttle service to/from MKE, ORD, and the AMTRAK stations.

  • How much is parking at Wingspread Retreat?

    On-site parking is included in your meeting package.

  • Do you have EV charging stations?

    Yes, we have complimentary EV charging stations.

  • Do you have complimentary Wi-Fi?

    Campus wide Wi-Fi is included in your meeting package.

  • May I bring my family or a plus one?

    Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center provides a unique, naturally beautiful environment for conferences and meetings set on a private campus. Non-participating adults cannot be accommodated.

    We welcome guests aged 16 and older when they are participating in a conference or meeting. While children are not permitted, infants under 9 months of age who necessarily need to be with their parent(s), (assuming the adult's participation is a necessary element of the conference they are attending) may be accommodated but are not permitted in the convening spaces.

    We do not have pack & plays, rollaways, highchairs, or cribs.

  • What is your pet policy and do you allow dogs?

    Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regarding service animals. Guests traveling with a service animal will not be charged a pet fee, also known as a pet cleaning fee. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability.

    We are not a pet friendly facility. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA.

  • How many guest rooms do you have?

    We have 40 modern, executive style guest rooms with Queen Beds.

  • May I extend my stay?

    Unlike a public hotel, the Guest House is only open when a conference is in session. Your conference services manager can assist in finding accommodations nearby.

  • What should I wear?

    Dress is business casual or whatever allows you to think best. Please note you will be walking outdoors between buildings on our 36-acre campus. It is approximately 100 yards between buildings. Golf cart assistance is available for those with limitations.

  • Do you have a business center?

    We have a computer and printer available in the Guest House. Your conference services manager and front desk team are happy to assist with any printing or shipping needs. We offer complimentary storage of 1-5 boxes.

  • Do you have a restaurant?

    We do not have an a la carte restaurant on our campus. We offer full on-site catering services with our professional in-house culinary team. We have several indoor and outdoor spaces where group meals are served. Outside food and beverage is not permitted.

    Accommodations can be arranged for very early/late arrivals and departures.

  • I have dietary restrictions, what do I do?

    We offer specially curated meals for each group with careful consideration of all dietary needs. We aim to provide an inclusive and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. You will work closely with our conference service managers to accommodate these needs during the planning process.

  • Do you have a gym onsite? Recreational Activities?

    Yes, we have an onsite fitness center located on the second floor of the Guesthouse. It offers treadmills, an elliptical trainer, free weights, exercise balls, and mats. We offer complimentary cruiser bicycles and helmets, plus nature trails for exploring, jogging, and walking. Maps are available at the front desk.

  • Do you offer discounted rates for Non-Profit organizations?

    There are many factors that are considered when estimating prices for a meeting or event, including specific dates requested, size of the group, meeting and dietary requirements. We do our best to accmmodate and work within a group's budget.

  • What taxes/fees are charged? What if we are tax-exempt?
    • All sales are subject to 5.5% WI tax unless proper documentation is provided.
    • If your group is tax-exempt, please provide your tax-exempt letter with a signed booking agreement.
    • We do not have an occupancy tax or resort fee.
    • Any gratuity will be paid at the discretion of your group. Groups have the option to add gratuity at the time of final invoicing.
  • What is your Complete Meeting Package (CMP) and what does it include?

    Our CMP is an all-inclusive package that starts with dinner on the evening of arrival and ends at 5pm on your departure day:

    • Overnight Guest Room accommodation with use of onsite fitness center
    • Full breakfast, lunch and dinner services in a designated meal room
    • AM & PM refreshment break services
    • Conference rooms set to your specifications
    • Basic A/V package with unlimited Wi-Fi connections
    • A conference planning manager to assist with all aspects of planning your event.

    Wingspread is a Frank Lloyd Wright designed building, originally the H.F. Johnson family home, now used as a meeting, dining, and gathering space during conferences.
